Advanced notifications

Is there any way we can add push notifications or at least an option to get emails when people PM or reply to a watched thread.

I'm sure many members can attest to this but I lose trades all the time because I missed someone's message by an hour and they bought another one by the time I'm checking the site again.

E-mail notifications are already available, & can be set up here.

I can't find the post but I know I've seen somewhere before that Push notifications aren't going to happen. At least not any time soon, as it would require more work than it's worth.

There are many browser extensions you can use to automatically refresh a tab for you & some even have alerts you can set up that detect changes on refresh. I'm currently experimenting with one myself having it refresh every 5 minutes.

And I would say to anyone else that if you were to try and automate processes like this on the site for intervals less than five minutes you could be looking at an automatic IP assumed bot traffic ban. 5 minutes is sensible but it's easy for me to see parsers/scrapers etc. and take action on them.

I like the suggestion, a lot of us who actively trade will benefit from push notification.
