Come to Hardcore, Embrace the Dread Please Review my about me post for Ground rules before you make posts in my topics, if these are violated (even in ignorance) the consequence is the same.
You said you will probably do one around Christmas but I didn't expect 4 walks. That's very generous of you.
The times are also very good for Europe. So thanks for that too.

This is incredible! The HCNL community is extremely starved for walks (when was even the last one?! was it your event last year?).
Yes probably. I also wanted to note that the time frames listed here are approximations, due to me not knowing the exact quantity needed for a particular walk to spawn, it is possible that it may occur slightly before or after the stated time. If people get their characters into a game about 10 minutes before the stated time you should not miss the event. (Just wanted to put that out there for anyone who is new/unfamiliar to this.)

Hi! How does this work? Do we join a specific server couple minutes before the time and wait for you to Bash dclone?
You create a hell game on the indicated region ahead of time and then wait in town for the walk to happen (it will say "Diablo has Invaded Sanctuary" in the chat log and the screen will shake).
You can then choose to try to kill him yourself (risky on HC if you're not sure your character can handle it), or ask for help.
Just be sure to clarify that it's HCNL when you post in there (nearly all of the requests in there are SC, so that is what people will assume unless you specify otherwise).
I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
I am curious how one gets that much SOJs (ca. 400?) to initiate 4 walks. Are they donated by the community? I'm certainly not an intense player, but in six month playing this game I've only found one myself so far
After a 20 year break from D2 I started playing D2R in 2024 with my sons (9 and 10 years old)
Time Zone: UTC/GMT +1/+2 (Germany)
Online workdays: casually from 07:00-09:00 pm
Online weekends: casually midday to evening
Non-Ladder | Softcore | Expansion
I've heard from some other users that some players use bots

Buying for cash, botting, community donations, trading for and/or (just to have it listed, unlikely as it is:) active self-finding.
Trading and/or self-finding tend to be fairly rare ways to a walk.
Community donations were around a few times especially earlier on. Not so much nowadays.
Botting is obviously all over the place and seems to be auto-selling to trigger the various fairly common random slow walks.
Buying mass SoJs for cash tends to be the most common route and is what most (probably all by now) streamers do. Though some still pretend otherwise until caught. Since they're typically bought off of bot farms, this is really just a variation of botting again.
That said, no idea where Xan specifically got his from.

Thanks for the replies. I thought so, too... E.g. on traderie you currently get 140 SOJs for 15 Jah (SCNL).
Btw, I have tracked the "ordinary" walks for some time now and recognized a massive slowdown on asia servers since about a week. There are almost half the walks (3-4 per day) that there were before (6-8). Maybe they shutted down some farms or - what is more unlikely - Blizz has banned some bot accounts.

ok so i actually start a server and wait for dclone to spawn (triggered by xan) and then i ask for help and some1 comes and kill dclone for me? thats it? im guessing there is a price for that? Thanks for the info

Pretty much You launch the game on the correct region (pick region in the B.Net launcher before launching the game), create a new game (preferrably via lobby with a game name & password), and camp in town. The prize is that Dclone always drops one Annihilus charm. It's the only way to get those. I mean, except trading for one or being given one, obviously.

Im Eastern Standard Time United States the First (America) will occur by 2:30 pm,
and EU 1 Hour after that 3:30 pm.
The Next set will follow the same format. (unless I get called in to work then I will reply here to update that of course.)
If someone here wants to volunteer the time zone conversions that would be appreciated. I did enter the information in the UTC format but I'm not sure how reliable it is.
If you get your characters in a game at 2:20pm and 3:20pm from my time respectively you should not miss any event as I plan to begin the selling 1 to 2 minutes after this for precision sake.

For central Europe the times are correctly displayed in the first post. 2:30 pm EST is 8:30 pm CET and the first post shows 8:30 pm for me for the first walk.
