Okay. So

Pindleskin has a TC of 87. Can someone explain why he fails to drop every item in the game? Is it because TC is only a single input, and others such as Monster Level impact the quality of drops as well? Any other inputs I should be made aware of (minus TZ)?

iirc his monster level = 86 = max quality level of his drops

I do find it weird that TC seems to be the variable folks look to versus monster level? Like all that matters is monster level or am I missing something?

Both parameters matter, TC and monster level

Example:


Hell

Mephisto (TC = 78, mlvl = 87)

Tyrael's Might (TC 87): Can drop? No, because item's TC is too high.

Nightwing's Veil (TC 81): Can drop? No, because item's TC is too high.

Azurewrath (TC 75, item level 87): Can drop? Yes, because

Mephisto's TC is 78 (greater than 75) and

Mephisto's mlvl is 87 (same as item's item level 87)


Hell Cow King (TC=66, mlvl=84)

Ormus' Robes (TC 66, item level 83): Can drop? Yes, Cow King's TC is match and Cow King's monster level is greather than item level

Wolfhowl (TC 66, item level 85): Can drop? No, althoug same TC , item level is greater than monster level
