Unfortunately, not that much.
Res have little value in PvP, it's all about stats especially life and mana. There are many other ways to cover for res.
Now, it's not a bad ring in itself for usual PvM, but you should probably sell happily if you get Ist for it... or just keep it to level up, it's great for that.
