The guy who created a subreddit parallel to r/diablo and lured people into joining by promising keys for the D2R Tech Alpha. Obviously he silenced (by banning) everyone who called him out.

Can't say I'm surprised he's trashing other people's work.

Oh yeah, I remember this guy. I'm also banned from his subreddit /r/Diablo_2_Resurrected and Discord.

Here's a conversation he had with me in October last year. TLDR he wanted to use this questionably sourced reddit memberbase to start his own RMT website, and asked me if I wanted to partner with him on it.

Battle.net API/Client Hack so that this would be automated.
You'd only need 3 clients that check each version all 30 seconds HC/SC;Ladder/NL (2 minute refresh time)

Well, you could just have one client rotate through the regions.

What isnt bannable...

- There are constant spam chat messages and buying gear for money probably is bannable
- Having bots of any kind: probably yes
- Idling in game forn Dclone: its messing with servers so probably even this is *potentially* bannable

The question is:
Can it be detected?

When you rotate through regions detection is way more likely.

Ill have a look at the ToS ok?

Battlenet API: there is no such thing for D2R

There HAS to be an API, it just isnt DOCUMENTED and PUBLIC.

There HAS to be an API because the client (game on your PC/Console) interects with the server (Battle.NET). If you figure out HOW that happens, by reverseengineering (illegal in most coutries) or trying or wiretapping your own game you could write a simple program that -authenticates to bnet, creates and holds a game, sends and recieves text messages in-game, close, repeat
