Especially with respecs, I’m starting to feel like leveling is the true endgame. At high level, it starts to feel like Hardcore because each Death is such a massive setback. You have to tone down the aggression and have a balanced play style, or will plateau in mid 90s with deaths.
I also think the new meta will reward high level, for example for a MA assassin, you need a lot of points in MA skills and in Shadow skills, and should still get DS as well. At the end of the day you can never have enough Venom level, or Claw Block level, and you’re going to feel noticeably stronger at 96 than at say, 90. Especially with chance to hit/be hit vs bosses.
Some of the new level 85 areas In 2.4 are near waypoints, making the runs quite fast and making Teleport more optional.
I do wish we had some more high level mini bosses like Nihlathak for the 94+ grind.
