Is it just me or does the 2.4 Bosses seem to have better dmg/health/resists altogether? Also, after playing for an hour yesterday I found it harder to build good res across all, but that may be because of the sucky items we got lol.
Still, what are your thoughts? Do you think bosses are harder? Do you think it was intentional? Would you like to see more difficult content such as this in the game?
I for one hope this is not a bug and mobs do receive a buff. Sure, it makes you farm slower but it feels more rewarding ^^ Just my 2 cents

Aye, the only thing that changed was the dmg they take from you. With no other buffs to them, that doesn't make things harder, it just makes them unnecessarily longer and annoying.
After all, not getting hurt for 5 seconds vs. not getting hurt for 2 minutes poses the same challenge in terms of raw difficulty, it merely drives you nuts after a few runs.
As for the "good res", you are 30 res (and 15 stat pts) short on all characters as compared to live. That's because they all got the res/stat quests marked as completed but didn't get the actual rewards from them.
You can easily get more resists on PTR by duplicating resist charms.
Put your charms in the shared stash, delete your character, log out and log back. Deleted character will be restored to it's initial state.
I didn't notice a big difference on Andariel. Did they flat out increase their dmg/health/resists or did they reduce crushing blow/Static Field's effectiveness ?

Ah, I see. I thought this would be the case, but then I saw all the quests as completed and thought I'm just making it up, cheers. As for the res charms dupe, yeah you can do that but my comment was more about a "feel" with the current state. What @Schnorki said makes sense. I will have to test to confirm but I believe he's not "making it up" as I had the same feel too. Interesting about decreasing your dmg, I think it'd be cool if they did not touch our chars but instead made the bosses stronger. Would feel like the risk of dying would be bigger and therefore the reward feel more... Well - rewarding.
