I'm looking into builds for my barb and I saw a lot of comments about a horker barb
But i couldnt find exactly what builds accomplish that, I've seen some WW + find items or Berserk
can someone explain me more about this?

Can be used to make Runewords:

but whats the best build to do that? WW?
Depends on how/where you wanna hork.
Horking is really just using Find Item to dig through corpses. The only build part to that, other than maxing Find Item, is that you want to avoid cold damage and partnering with people who blow up corpses and that you generally want to maximize your mf/gf for the horking so far as your approach allows.
How you get to those corpses to hork however (and by extension just how much mf/gf you can get away with) depends entirely on where and how you want to hork.
Classic examples include:
- Zerker down your own kills, hork (needs some dmg gear)
- Have your merc kill trav for you (allows for maximizing mf/gf, needs a merc capable of dishing out solid dmg)
- Follow some Javazon around cows and hork her leftovers (also allows for maximizing mf/gf)

WW requires a lot of gg gear, so zerk is probably your best option.

In my opinion there are only two ways to go about this. Either make a Pitzerker and farm... The Pit or make a WW Barbarian and farm Travincal. A Pitzerker requires Enigma to really be efficient, whereas the WW Barbarian "only" needs 2x Grief and the rest of his gear is pretty affordable. I have both and find WW Travincal much more entertaining / profitable. There is a lightning Sorceress with Infinity for everything else.
OP
Should I max Find Item? How many points is necessary?
The higher the %, the better. Check https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Find_Item for the skill progression.
I made a Barbarian with full IK set to run Travincal... I gave him also a low barb torch , 1 Ravenfrost and a good life-leech ring... I usually use Concentrate (maxed) to kill the Council one by one. I have spent 1 point into Find Item and on the swap I have 2 Heart Carver... so... few minutes to kill the whole group... few seconds to "hork" them... It is creepy, but fun and profitable... they drop lot of money too...
PS: my main target is to kill the Council fast so I have spent more skill points on combat abilities and not in Find Item itself...
Using Ravenfrost or any other source of cold damage on a horker barbarian is a bad idea as this leads to breaking the frozen bodies into pieces and not being able to use Find Item on them.OrcozZio wrote: 2 years agoI made a Barbarian with full IK set to run Travincal... I know... with IK full set you already do lot of cold dmg (set bonus on the Maul)... but I mainly want to kill them with a cheap build (full IK set is cheap)... when they don't get shattered... they will be horked...ALLEyezOnMe wrote: 2 years agoUsing Ravenfrost or any other source of cold damage on a horker barbarian is a bad idea as this leads to breaking the frozen bodies into pieces and not being able to use Find Item on them.
Yea, I'm trying to build a horker my self. Just haven't really researched the pitzerker build. I remember having a WW barb back in the days when IAS didn't affect them.
I think IK is great value for its cost, even if some corpses shatter.
All prices are negotiable.
All trades are Non-Ladder.

I went pure Gold Find (2250) and about 400MF and my barb can't kill a thing in Hell, so merc does all of the heavy lifting in Trav or I follow whoever kills in cow games and make sexually suggestive sounds with all of the dead cows....

I've got a Frenzy Horker and just farm Trav primarily nowadays. Here's my setup if it helps:
Gear:
Helm: Immortal King's Will socketed with 2 ptopaz
Chest: Skullder's Ire (cheap) OR Enigma (almost there! - just found a Jah, now looking for a Ber)
Belt: Goldwrap
Gloves: Chance Guards OR Laying of Hands (if you need the extra damage / fire resist to survive)
Boots: War Traveler
Amulet: Highlord's Wrath
Rings: Any combo of Lifestyle / Mana steal rare rings, Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band or Carrion Wind. Could also go Dwarf Star if you're looking for Gold as well.
Weapons: Main hand Grief
Offhand Blade Of Ali Baba OR 6 Ist Phase Blade (more expensive, but high MF and much faster)
Weapon swap: Dual Phase Blade with +3 Warcry (socketed with Ist)
--I like to get the +6 extra Warcries to boost my Find Item % up to 53, instead of the higher MF from other weapons. More runes!
MERC (A2 Might):
Andariel's Visage socketed with Ral
Arioc's Needle
Duriel's Shell
No cold damage anywhere, and my Merc can pretty much solo them if need-be. There might be some better runewords to upgrade to, so let me know if you guys have any suggestions for this setup.

1 point to all prerequisites
20 points to Frenzy — main damage dealer
20 points to Weapon Mastery of Choice — Adds Damage, Attack Rating, and Critical Strike (Sword for me)
1 point to Increased Speed — Helps you move faster
1 point to Natural Resistance— Massive boost to resistances
1 point to Battle Command — Increases skills
20 points to Shout — Massive Defense boost. Some prefer maxing out Battle Orders instead for extra health, but I prefer the extra defense.
1 point to Leap -- Great mobility (if no Enigma)
20 Points to Taunt -- Useful for lowering attack damage and rating on non-boss monsters, as well as pulling monsters towards you. Also adds damage to Frenzy
1 point Battle Cry - Reduces defense and damage of enemies (including bosses)
1 point Berserk - For physical damage resist monsters
Dump the rest of your points in Find Item (I've got 8 base points so far @ level 93).
You want to aim for at least 20 Find Item (after all skill bonuses from buffs, items and charms) for 51% chance, so if needed, can put less points into Taunt.
Base Strength: 165
Base Dex: 140
Base Vit: 240

So my horker got to lvl 78 and I still need to lvl up more. He dies easily and gets frozen all time.
Thinking of putting a Cham in a Shako. Do I need to wear a Duriel's Shell?
