1234 = Belt
QWER = damage stuff
ASDF = buff stuff (F = rapid movement)
X = identify
B = townportal
V = switch weapons
If I have Enigma, then F=Teleport, otherwise F=barbjump or F=palarush, etc.
more or less like that, sure it depends on the skills and how many I got to have.
With this setup I can have my standard gaming finger layout. Everything is quickly accessible and I could do even more spells, if needed.
When you have to multiple-cast a spell, well, just hold a Key pressed until you're done. For example hold F as long as you want to Teleport, otherwise press Key or mouse button to attack
Ofc you have to change some keybindings to make space for this layout. For example I re-binded quests menu to J ("journal") and inventory to i.
Let's just call it the MMO layout for future references. :>
I always have F6 be Teleport and F8 be town portal no matter what character I am playing. I also try to have my main damage dealing skill either F4 or F5.
If you offer what I am asking, add me on battle.net for a quicker trade. I'll see the notification instantly if I'm available.

Used to play with standard bindings for about 20 years.
When D2R came out I tried out a "standard MMO binding" like explained above and I won't ever go back
Where would you lay your buff spells, especially when getting a CTA?
I do "E" for Teleport and mouse thumb button for my main skill. I tried using quickcast, but 20 years of d2 using hotkeys I just can't get used to it yet.
Is it possible to have a hybrid control scheme where certain skills quickcast and others work the traditional way?
Please feel free to reach out to me directly through Battle.net if you're interested in one of my items, especially if I don't respond immediately to a thread I've posted.

People were doing this by using shortcut software like AutoHotKey with their own scripts etc. before the quick-cast patch came in.
So yes, it is definitely possible. I can't find the specific posts describing the method but hopefully someone here more knowledgeable will help you get started with that.
