Device: PC
Browser: Chrome Version 96.0.4664.45 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:
I get 4+ push notifications instead of 1. Happens for every type of notification. Followed instructions to enable push notifications.

Push notifications retired in 1.34.

TLDR; Couldn't fix it as original dev went AWOL. Was using a huge amount of server resources, only a handful of users actually using.

For a workaround, go to your notification settings and use email notifications. Your device probably generates push notifications for these.

Further more, because of that I DISABLED them, but they are still popping up even though they are DISABLED

These are known issues for now unfortunately. The dev for the push notifications has been contacted, but for now the only way to stop them once enabled is to disable push notify for each type of notification individually on the Notification Options page.
