Description

It seems every time you bump a trade the last offer gets its timestamp replaced by the current one.
No idea if it happens randomly or with every trade, but I have noticed it in some of mines.

Can be used to make Runewords:

I think is intentional.. probably the trades are sorted on the main page by timestamp, so it just updates it to "bump"

Mmm sorry but it doesn't make any sense, you have many other ways to sort trades without need to resort to such awful hack.

This is just a waste of time for people involved, before I noticed I spent several hours waiting for the guy that offered, just to close some deal, when actually that offer was 2 days old and of course, he had already bought somewhere else, because also, I didn't receive the notification.

im not saying thats the best way and I'm not responsible for this site but as a web developer it makes a lot of sense in using a simple hack like this lol

I'm a full stack web developer with about 20 years of experience, lol.

You can just create a 'bumped_at' datetime field and sort by that. Among other million solutions.

I refuse to believe this is intentional.

This has already been discussed here:

In short: It is unintentional and the Admin knows about it.
