Blade of Alibaba as swap just before kill the target. Personalny AIM for the SnowclashBelt - huge dps boost to Blizzard, and free Ice Armor. I gone with the Blizzard around 5000k dmg and Firewall for cold immune to help merc clean
Spirit for Hoto Tal head for Andariel Visage for merc surv
Good neck/ring
Oculus -- price is falling really fast, as low as Um. That's +50% MF right there and +1 skills over Spirit
Harlequin Crest -- price on this is falling really fast too. Might be able to pick this up for Mal soon.
Chance Guards -- getting 35+ is fairly cheap, maybe a Lem or Pul? Yeah you lose FCR, but you can make it up.
Rings -- 10 FCR ring / ammy + 28%+ Nagelring -- again, very cheap
And a Gheed's... low 30%s is a Pul, mid% is an Um. Also rather affordable.
As far as weapon swap, Alibaba isn't worth it because it requires you to invest 2 Ists to get its true value. Better and way cheaper idea: GullDagger + Rhyme shield (Shael + Eth).
and for your Boots obviously war travs, which you can get a bad pair of low 30% war travs fairly cheap. also not that you dont need much mf above 200%. 300-400 is fine, but after that it really doesnt do that much.

Agree with all of this, except for the Ali Baba part. Ali Bab + Rhyme on weapon swap can still be worth it for bosses and/or Travincal (can put in Lems even to get more gold - cast Blizz then switch for big stacks).
Also might be worth re-rolling Spirit. Hel plus the runes isn't a whole lot. Have a few spares to reroll several times, but should be very easy to beat that low FCR roll.
I'd also recommend ditching Skullder's in favor of a decent Vipermagi. Can up and socket it with Um or Topaz. I'd prioritize Oculus though.
Most of all, I'd recommend spending some time leveling. Find a good Baal run game and you can shoot up to mid to high 80s fast. Will greatly improve your damage and merc survivability much faster than upgrading equipment.

You might even want to get ethereal war travs. They might break one day, but that will take forever (I've been using Eth travs since week 2 and they're still 24/40 durability!) and will be dirt cheap. Aldur's does very little for you as a blizz sorc.
Once you hit the 300 MF mark, I'd focus on getting +skills and +FCR to make your runs faster. More runs = more dice rolls = more loot, and that matters more than having a high MF% (due to diminishing returns).
Occy + Shako are the two most impactful upgrades you can get.
Your end goal is 3 piece Tal Rasha using Belt / neck / armor, but that is still quite expensive (though prices are rapidly falling). Cheap alternatives until you can afford those are SnowclashBelt (+3 to blizzard/Glacial Spike/Ice Bolt) and Laying of Hands (+1 all skills). It's worth giving up the MF from Goldwrap to significantly increase your damage for making your runs faster.
To keep your merc alive longer, I'd get a Shaftstop. You can get one for a Ko/Fal at this point. Also, when your merc is in danger (especially vs. Meph and Andy), Teleport away from the boss to force-move your merc away while you keep kiting with Blizzard. He won't die if you micromanage him.
