What Would Runes Be Worth Without Cubing?

I started playing a bit again (usually mindlessly doing runs while watching Netflix) and found my 2nd ever

Ber Rune yesterday.

It got me thinking, I’ve found 2x

Ber,

Zod,

Cham,

Ohm,

Lo (plus another I saw drop near me that I couldn’t snatch) but I’ve never found

Ist,

Gul, or

Vex.

Clearly

Ber is not 34x rarer than

Ist or 5x rarer than

Ohm. What would relative values of runes look like if cubing didn’t exist?

I remember 20 years ago when I was playing, “HRs” we’re pretty interchangeable in value if I recall, except for

Zod because it was so rare.

I've found

Ber,

Cham,

Jah, and multiples of

Ist

Gul, and

Vex and on, but I have never found a

Zod or

Sur. I built my Zon on trading

Ist and

Vex.

Well, my 2 Surs would be worth sh*t for sure.

I have found

Zod,

Ber, 2

Sur,

Ohm,

Vex, a lot of guls but never

Ist or

Lo. Sadly

Zod is worth nothing compared to

Ber or

Jah.
