I'm surprised but it seems that Swordback Hold has some trade value:
pricecheck.php?item=953
I guess it's used for pvp. Not sure however if ethereal and non perfect ed% has some value.

Thanks! is Ethereal generally speaking worse or better than a normal version of an item Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm pretty new.atari wrote: 1 year ago I'm surprised but it seems that Swordback Hold has some trade value:

Better if it's gear for mercenary or if it replenishes quantity, repairs durability or is indestructible - or if it's a base for a runeword with these mods (because it deals more damage, has more defense, lower requirements...).
There are other (specific) cases where it's better ethereal, but it's complicated. I don't know if there's a complete guide on ethereal items somewhere...?
Otherwise, most of the time it's crap, just useful before it breaks, and it's generally not worth to socket it with a Zod to make it indestructible (again, some rare cases...)
Edit : forgot weapons you don't hit with (caster weapons, CTAs...). For these it doesn't matter, you don't hit, they don't lose durability, not worse not better.

The issue here is that dura is already at 6/21 so sorcs will not want to use it themselves (or is it for an a3 merc ? dunno) so probably worthless.
