Would a Normal
Scarab Husk
with 474(Apparently perfect possible for non enhanced?) worth anything with 4 sockets or should I just
Charsi
it? If it was 3 sockets would it have been worth anything? Just wondering, because I'm not sure I should even bother with these armors.

Can be used to make Runewords:

dont bother with these unless +15ed. Best is archon plates. 3 soc or 4 soc. with ed thats even extra. basically armors that have high defence that have low strength requirement is most popular. thus said,
Archon Plate
and
Dusk Shroud
are only favoured.

for etheral, any armor 800+ defence would get you some
Mal
+ currency. anything over 900+ you should ask for more as it is hard to find. main purpose of these armors are for mercs for "Stone" and "Fortitude" runewords. thus have value $$ hope this helped

So your saying this Perfect Normal Scarab has too low defense to compete with Archons but too high str requirement to compete with Dusk Shrouds? Lame.

yep! its like would you want to build runeword on a second tier armor or top tier? I guess that basically answer your questions. people rather wait or save up a bit to go first tier as it is not impossible to get it.
