It does fail to the ED/MD bug when it's NOT in a weapon. But for a weapon, this one is, as far as I know, perfectly fine.
Typically this would be a decent jewel for an A5 Barb's sword for someone using a Sazabi or a Headstriker, but still far less good than the classical 15/40.
Ask for something like a Vex, see what comes and be ready to go down to Ist if you see nothing coming in let's say 2 weeks to a month
