Would a +30 to teleport gem change the gear you wear?

I like Enigma... in fact, i have about 8 of them... i just make them to make them at this point. Every char uses an Enigma. So many builds don't require a single point to strength due to Enigma, and you get

Teleport, MF and so on in the bargain. I don't even like mercs, but seeing as they give us auras,,, just to position your merc it's almost default.

However, i do love the old way where unique/rare items had a purpose. I enjoyed making characters that look cool (i mean, why are all runewords gray?) and armor is the biggest part of that.

So many people talk about adjusting

Tyrael's Might to compete with Enigma. what items would you use if you could socket any item with a 1 mana

Teleport.. or even a "Fastest Cast Rate"

it actually not make much difference. except kill position of Enigma.

Tyrael's Might have position, I was searching it for special use but yes there are many armor can replace it.

I gotcha. TBH, they should just give every class access to

Teleport as a skill. But that's just my opinion.

I think it would be far harder to adjust the skill tree.. unless they just gave it for free... that's why they reuse so many things dclone, uber ancients,

Uber Tristram.... even anni is just memphistos soul Stone. It super easy to add item modifications, hell, you can create them yourself in hero editor. The way i see it, they keep adjusting the game with runewords, torc, anni, uber jewel, sunders , so on it would be in perfect form to adjust this with a socket... or even a scroll like the resists or

Duriel's Shell and 4 arkaines valor because they are just too cool to throw away. I've given enigmas away... they are just so dull... especially in MP/AP...

I would love to see it at least lose the +skills and strength per level. With

Teleport and magic find it'll still fit really well into being the bis item for farming. And better options for other classes, at least give amazon something and give necro/druid

I loved the Diablo 1 magic mechanic when you could find books to learn a spell and scrolls to just use them. It was so fun to learn spells with my warrior

What if there was a gem or a charm (a new one -

Hellfire Torch is too common) which granted +1 to a random character skill as an oskill? Such an item could substitute any gear item, relaxing this slot so it's not permanently occupied by an item with a mandatory oskill, like Enigma with

Teleport.
To make it balanced, characters should be limited to one such "relic" at a time (like most unique charms), and also the existing oskills should likely be removed (and CtCs and charged skills as well), so each character is limited to one other class' skill, not mix and match them to make an ultimate build (

Teleport from Enigma,

Battle Orders from Call To Arms,

Fade from Treachery,

Find Item from the new item, ...).

Yeah,

Death Mark all your skeles and army of revives to the room you want to enter. Or over the wall in the middle of Souls pack instead of jumping there yourself will be huge! Similar as my Warlock is doing.

To be more serious: we have

Teleport charges items now. Why change an Enigma or add TP jewel? Weapon, annis, headgear provide enough choice of you want armor other than Enigma. So leave it be. Want free Teleporting? There is Sorc, Assasin, jumping Barb and now Warlock. Pal with

Vigor and

Charge runs like nothing else. You need 200FCR Sorc to compete with him on cow level.

Teleport if it will ever be introduced should go with serious debuff thing. Like 0.1% instadeath on arrival or -40-50(varies) to all Resist caps. 1% chance to leave you with 1 health and 1 mana on arrival for hardcore.
To nerf Enigma adding random teleporting when hit (like Oculus) will do good job. Or -10 to all skills except

Teleport.

Every build uses Enigma because it simply is such a good and mobile armor piece to make. Enigma is always my aim each time I play, last ladder was absolutely disgusting when it comes to any drops so didnt get it made. This ladder, didnt even bother to play yet, most likely wont, shall see.
I feel like they did something to drop rates as Ive not had this bad drop luck with anything since original d2 times. Tyraels might most likely harder to find than getting Enigma

I think if they don't want to add a new skill to the original classes, they could legitimately just, change

Death Mark to work with all summons, and add new unique gloves with oskill

Death Mark on them. There's not really any clearly bis gloves for summoner classes as it is so i think it would be a great fit there
