They were told that they should buy a throwing weapon with "prevent monster heal" to have a much more manageable DClone

What class do you play ? Melee usually is easy for DClone, just wear GFace
Necro (I am one) go summon Urdar revives, takes time but works fine.
Sorcs do as above.

Nah, it's just that I just started this singular ladder character and I don't have any gear whatsoever. He's about three days old, maybe four. Poor little baby. Monsters are scary.

Ah, nurseries are important places. Even DClone could respect that.
