After watching this video yesterday I haven't logged into Diablo since. Severely demotivating to find out that some [email protected]##$#@# dupers are destroying the economy by duping high runes en mass. Not sure if I'll be playing again this ladder season. This was precisely why I quit the game 20 years ago.

While I would certainly not be surprised by it, considering the history of it all, I wouldn't jump to conclusions based on what seems to so far be a solitary occurrence. (Based on that video anyways..I certainly won't bother digging through that there annoying site to look for other examples)

If/when it does happen again though, I sincerely hope that blizzard removes poofing and the item ID concept. Flooding the economy was one thing. But spending ages farming to trade for something that was still comparatively expensive just to have it go poof 2 games later through no fault of your own? Now that was truly annoying.

Then again..considering the sudden intense spike in walks, who knows? Though if they had the method that early (per vid), there should've already been more sneaky private walks before annis started deflating I guess so...a toss up.

EDIT: I took the risk and it worked. was a bit weird because my ladder char failed to create game at first, and then I couldnt log in to any char for a few minutes, it said "this character is already in a game". eventually everything went back to normal and I had this Mist. not the best roll, but suuuuch new BIS for magezon!
